Peter Pan's funniest moments?

I rewatched this with my 7-year-old daughter after we finished reading the JM Barrie original book. The book is deeper and richer, but I must admit that the Disney version at least has some brilliant comedy! (Except for the painfully ignorant depictions of "Natives")

My favorite LOL moments:

-Poor Nana the nursemaid dog is such a sweet character, even though she never gets any lines! The bit where grumpy George drags her outside and can’t find the rope to tie her up, only to have Nana dutifully present him with the rope moments later is both heartbreaking and hilarious! Poor Nana. Loyal to a fault.

-Any of the Hook and crocodile slapstick is comedic gold! Hook’s shrieks for Smee, plus his Looney Tunes-like floundering, are side-splitting.

-Hook having a set of alternate hooks, including a Sunday-best hook for special occasions. Too clever! He can even play the piano with this hook … and beautifully!

-Smee is just a great character all-around. He’s a sweet, jolly, mild-mannered grandfatherly man, yet he’s also a murderous pirate who casually talks about slitting throats like it’s as dull as paperwork.

My daughter’s favorite LOL moment is when Smee is trying to sooth Captain Hook with a shave. A female seagull flies along and thinks Hook’s towel-wrapped head will make a perfect nest, so she flies down and settles in like a brooding hen. Unfortunately, Smee mistakes the seagull’s rump for Hook’s face, and the gull is so happy with her nest that she fails to notice her bottom being lathered and shaved. The gull finally realizes the terrible mistake when Smee slaps on the aftershave, causing the poor seagull to turn around and reveal that her fanny is now featherless and pink! The gull flies off crying and trying to cover her bare butt, and meanwhile Mr. Smee discovers the empty “nest” and thinks Hook has been beheaded!

So that’s our favorite LOL moments for this film. What are yours?
