Reese Witherspoon as TinkerBell?

Do you think that will happen? It was announced a few months ago that Witherspoon would be producing a live action TinkerBell film, as well as starring as Tink herself. It's been describe in the vein of Maleficent and is written by the person who wrote Finding Dory. However, with the recent Pan being a massive bomb, not to mention the DTV TinkerBell films not selling so good that they canceled anymore films, it seems if nobody is interested in Peter Pan anymore, so it's unlikely that this film will get made.

Though if it does, what are your thoughts about this?

"Why are you wearing a tux?"
"It's after six. What am I, a farmer?"

Her legs aren't nice enough for the outfit (and she's 40!)

Why does it matter whether her legs are good for the part or not? What about in terms of acting? Tinker Bell isn't some character to be sexualized. She never was.

I was just joking around for the hell of it (I love to do that on these Disney boards) but you have to admit that outfit definitely shows a lot of leg (it's a huge favorite where I'm from around Halloween.) Especially for Disney.

I'm sure her acting would be fine; she's a talented actress. But good actresses cannot necessarily just play any part.

Good actresses can play any part as long as they are versatile and full of range. Just ask Meryl Streep. Plus, they could make Tink look like this instead:

No leg showing. Respectful to females. Still true to character.
