The mermaids in this film were much more attractive than Ariel + sisters

The mermaids in this film were much more beautiful than Ariel and her sisters.

Just saying.

(Although funnily enough, one of the less-attractive mermaids in this movie does look a bit like Ariel.)

I don't know who I'd consider to be more "attractive," (the mermaids from Peter Pan look like little girls to me) but I do like the designs from Peter Pan better.

Seriously? Ariel was way more attractive lol

Yes, but they were mean people (or mer-people)! At least Ariel had a heart of gold.

These mermaids did seem to have anger, jealousy and resentment issues.

They acted more like traditional mermaids from lore in Peter Pan. I thought the mermaids in The Little Mermaid were too friendly. Mermaids from old stories are beautiful, but their goal is usually to lure sailors to their death through drowning (like Wendy). I thought they were more realistic.. well I mean for magical creatures; I realize mermaids aren't real.

As far as looks, I like the mermaids in Peter Pan better than Ariel. She's too skinny. Ariel's sister that has the red tail is prettier than the Neverland mermaids, though.

Good points all around. I agree with this post.
