Richard Travis also appears in the 1958 "Missle to the Moon" (As Steve Dayton) and the giant spider in the moon caves is the EXACT same one used in "Mesa..." Whoa, what a coincidence!

I loved that googly eyed, shaking, hairy legged monstrosity in Missile to the Moon, and the spider was good, too. Boom Boom.
shareMany actors and set pieces were re-used in 50s-60s sci-fi movies due to budget constrains and when you had to choose of production quality reusing spider someone else made or make one yourself the choice was obvious.
