Tense

Kazan has a gift for making what the characters are going through compelling and fascinating, but somehow I couldn't quite enjoy this movie. 6/10.

The danger, etc. didn't make up for the depressing nature of it all. It's more tragic than uplifting, for me. Maybe if March's circus manager had survived.... Always good to see Gloria Graham, though, no matter what!
