why is there no video of this film?
not as crisp as 'the third man' but like one reviewer stated a gem none the less.
just played at the egyptian theatre in hollywood. it was gorgeous! and claire bloom and hildegard knef were fantastic.
I bought my VHS copy through Amazon.co.uk. It does cost a bit more, and I did have to have it transferred on to a Region One VHS at a shop here in Vancouver, but it is worth it. I have also suggested it to TCM as a possible film to show for James Mason's 100th birthday in May of next year. They have played some British film classics that I've suggested before, including their premiere showing of So Long at the Fair last fall, so hopefully they will show this one too.

I thought TCM would sell a DVD of movies like this? They do sell some obscure movies on DVD or VHS.
