The brunette with the choker

I caught the first 30 minutes of "Lili" earlier today on Turner Classic Movies. At the start of the movie, even before we meet Leslie Caron, we see a brunette wearing a red/orange dress and a black choker (a close-fitting necklace). We also see her briefly a few minutes later when the story shifts to the carnival troupe. Any idea who that actress is? I don't think this is the Zsa Zsa Gabor character, but whoever she is, she was a knockout.
