In Real Life Hardin Was a Multi-Murderer, make no mistake!

In real life Hardin was a multi-murderer and this film has invented a character that simply did not exist.
Romanticising characters like this makes a mockery of the truth. He was a cold-blooded killer who enjoyed killing. He killed somewhere between 27-42 men (depending on who you believe), most of them in far from fair fights.
Even after he was released from prison, the first thing he did was to cause the death of a completely innocent Mexican man with gunplay!
