Somewhow, I find him more attractive as "Petruchio" in costume with
mustache and goatee rather than as the actor "Fred Graham."
Maybe it is the mustache factor?
He was good in Annie Get Your Gun...no mustache....:-(
However...mustache is present in Showboat, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers...Wow!
OMG how funny, I was just watching this tonight (taped from last week) and was thinking that Howard Keel (dressed as Petruchio) is the most viral and handsome man I've ever seen from that era. SMOKING HOT. I came here to read stuff on the movie and laughed out loud when I saw this thread. I couldn't agree more!
