A lot of people won't agree, but I found Island to be a thrilling movie. High and the Mighty had a little too much soap opera feel too it for me. I still enjoyed it, but Island is a great film.

shareHigh and Mighty is fantastic and sure was enjoyed by men and women alike in theaters. But, I too think Island is superior. I just think the B&W and all (basically all)male cast put it at a disadvantage at the box office.
H&M could cut out the entire passengers stories and I would like it better. Of course, that is what made it what it is and I am OK with that.
