Is this Hitchcock's Best Plot Twist?

The plot twist I'm talking about is when the jury spokesman said: Although he acted suspiciously we can find no evidence of his actually killing the deceased, the verdict is "not guilty."

What an amazing twist! The whole world was expecting a "guilty" verdict.

Another great plot twist by Hitchcock:

Rebecca: Max De Winter: You thought I loved her. I hated her.

I'd definitely vote for Rebecca. Either the part you mentioned, or (Rebecca spoiler) when they are talking to the doctor near the end and he tells them that she had cancer and was going to die anyway.

And I'm sure there are plenty more good Hitchcock plot twists.

Agree with you on my favorite Hitchcock film - Rebecca. How about this one from Strangers on a Train:

Ruth Roman to Farley Granger: "How did you get him to do it?"

The best Hitchcock plot twist is obviously the one in Psycho, when we learn who is the real murderer, with all the implications.

It would probably be the best plot twist of all time, if not for the famous Sixth Sense one. Inferior movie but the plot twist is so great that you can just re-start the movie from the beginning for a second watch in a row.
