Carolyn Jones

I dearly love Carolyn Jones if for nothing else, "The Addams Family"

Saying that, I have to admit: When she was the first to go with her horrible laugh I was eternally grateful to Vincent Price's character.

Yes, she is such a great and underrated actress. I love her in this movie, Addams Family, and Eaten Alive directed by Tobe Hooper. To me, her laugh in this movie was so annoying that it was actually funny.

I've been waiting for you, Ben.

I sincerely admire Carolyn as well. It must have great fun to play the equivalent of a Victorian valley girl. It seems as if she's having a blast.
Though it's too bad she dies in the first reel, I do admit that the insipid giggle she used was as annoying as hell, and likely intentional too. And I wasn't sorry to hear it go.

Unlike the consensus in this thread, I didn't mind her laugh. It was part of her character, and given the period in which House of Wax was made, it was exaggerated for effect.

Apart from the Carolyn Jones roles mentioned here already, I will add her supporting role in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (the 1956 version) and a pair of television appearances: She plays Marsha, Queen of Diamonds, in two Batman stories, and in the one in which she is paired with the Penguin to make a bogus movie as part of their scheme, she shows a pleasing amount of leg. I always wondered what was beneath that Morticia Addams goth dress! Then in the Kolchak: The Night Stalker episode "Demon in Lace," she is hilarious as an officious college administrator giving grief to our man Carl. Too bad that was her only scene in the episode.

Loved Carolyn Jones and was sincerely sorry to see her character go so early in this movie. She was gorgeous and a sweet girl too.

Hey, it's perfectly okay to want an actor you love get killed in a certain role/movie. 

I wonder...do you think that was really Carolyn beneath the Joan of Arc get-up?
