Is that a Radio Antenna tower on Mrs. Lowe's ranch?

In numerous shots at the exterior of Mrs. Lowe's ranch, in scenes with the Apache, with the Calvary guy, etc., there is a distinct tall, thin structure in the background that looks like a radio transmitter tower. Am I the only one who noticed that?

I too saw this while watching the new blu-ray edition last night and wondered the very same thing...

Me too, but if you look carefully the line goes into the earth.

Just watched various scenes on YouTube. That radio tower is SO obvious, it's very distracting. Why did the director allow such an obvious goof? Couldn't they have framed the shots so that they didn't include the tower? If you look REALLY closely, there are poles and wires in the background, but those aren't quite so obvious or egregious, since telegraph lines would have been a possibility in this era. But a transmitter tower?

Mrs. Lowe was just 50 years ahead of the rest of us. Later, following Hondo's death, she married again, to a Mr. Marconi and taught him how to transmit radio waves.

It's definitely visible. If you look at the scene where Wayne is shoeing the horse (around the 14 minute mark), you can see that they installed a kind of "Y" shaped wooden post to a tree to try to distract from the radio tower in the background. Pre-CGI, guys :)
