Ed Wood was a much better actor than he was a writer and director

The dialogue he writes is awful and he's probably the worst director in history, but he was actually a pretty good actor in this. None of his dialogue felt all that awkward and forced like it did every other character in the movie.

But that's the thing, all of his movies are awful. I love them, but they're crap. You'd think that he'd be able to make something of a career for himself if he stuck to acting, but he just had to be behind the camera. I'm surprised he didn't put himself in every one of his films, Lord knows it would have done nothing but help them.
