Marge and Debbie

It's interesting to me that Marge Champion is first billed in this movie. She seems to be the star with Debbie and Helen as the secondary characters. When you go to Marge's IMDB she has quite a few credits and she's certainly a talented dancer. But she just didn't have a great screen presence and it's obvious in this movie

Debbie steals every scene she is in. Debbie just has that star quality that makes her a household name still today.
