Who was the instumental group onstage?

Who was the instrumental group that was onstage accompanying the middle sister (Barbara Whiting) sing "I Like Men"? Were they a real group, or actors portraying musicians? They aren't listed as being in this movie on IMDB.

I went back and looked at the scene. The "musicians" appear to be faking it. Watch their fingers on the frets of their instruments.
