1953...tobacco rules

All the women in the OBGYN waiting room are puffing away while pregnant.No one says anything negative.In fact,it's a struggle for two of the women to decide wheather to choose spending money on much needed red meat or cigarettes.
Crazy how much people smoked and were nose blind to the smell.Janet Leigh was a heavy smoker who died from complications....The smell today for me is unbearable to be around.I can only assume because everyone smoked back then nobody smelled it.
