I can't imagine why Calamity would choose him over Bill! And to top it off, he calls her selfish after she earlier risked her life to save his sorry hide.

I hear that. I've always preferred Bill. That bit when he calls Calamity rubs me the wrong way, like he wouldn't have made Bill's life hell if Katie had chosen him.
