Norman Rockwell

I really enjoyed the way the movie worked in two of Rockwell's painting in the story :

- the Thanksgiving dinner (obviously)
- the Gossips, when the "rumor" gets around at the telegraph's office (it even goes full circle back to the wife).

As it is a period film, it probably made sense to use Rockwell's art as a visual reference, and I thought it made the movie all the more enjoyable.

Good observation. The gossip scene really seemed like the painting come to life.
