Gordon MacRae and Doris Day

I can't seem to find recordings of the many great songs, that they sung together in 'By the Light of the Silvery Moon' and their other movies.

I can find them singing the songs but with a different person/s but never together.

Is there a reason for this?

I have looked also and can't find the 2 of them singing together. There's a soundtrack of the movie only Gordon is singing with June Hutton. What's that all about??? Makes me wonder if this has to do with Doris Day because why else wouldn't the 2 of them made the soundtrack.

Why would it have to do solely with Doris Day? They might have been signed to different studios.

Either way it is really annoying, I was separated the audio from the video clips. So I was able to keep the songs but I still get some of the dialogue from the movie.

Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with Doris Day, she's always seemed to be such a wonderful person. I just can't figure why the soundtrack would have someone other than Doris Day. It was just a guess.

They don't sing together on the soundtrack albums because they were both contracted to different recording studios.
