does anyone know the name of the song sang by the principal (Harry Bellafonte) in the movie, i really loved it along with the movie and would love to hear it again

The is name of the song is "Susanne" Words and Music by : Harry Belafonte and Millard Thomas.

It is found on most greatest hits albums by HB. I agree it is a hauntingly beautiful ballad.

It's a variation of the traditional "Every Night When the Sun Goes Down" (or "In.")
