I had recorded the movie from TCM yesterday but I somehow missed the end. Can someone describe what happens after they start moving the injured down the hill, near the front lines?

Bogey makes it to the bottom of the hill, gets reunited with June Allyson, they say "hi" and walk off into the sunset as a helicopter flies over. The end.
(CONTAINS SPOILERS)Even though I LOVED this movie I have to admit that the end could have been done a bit better. Their position if I recall correctly could still have been easily over-ran by the North Koreans but all we see is Bogey and June walking off into the sunset.
I did like the scene where the N.K. prisoner had a grenade in the operating room. My mind was in 2012 mode and was expecting him to pull the pin like a modern day terrorist, killing himself and everyone around him.
To me it was a good film even though I only caught the tail end of it.
