Trying to find the name of one of the dancers -

Does anyone know the name of the young man who answers the door when Fred Astaire comes to the cast party in the hotel room? He’s wearing a yellow short sleeved shirt, and he’s a dancer in several numbers. I could swear he was also in THE MUSIC MAN, BYE BYE BIRDIE, IT’S ALWAYS FAIR WEATHER, MARY POPPINS and HELLO DOLLY. Thanks!

I am ALSO trying to figure out his name. He was an exceptional dancer,
and truly stood out. Sort of a charismatic extra! He's with Judy
Garland in her "Great Lady" sequence in "Ziegfeld Follies", as well as her
"Get Happy" number in "Summer Stock." He also dances in her '56 TV
special (she's singing "Get Happy"). And, yes, he's in "It's Always
Fair Weather." Very, very sexy man.

I've always thought it would be great if we could know the names and various credits of all the chorus dancers in movie musicals. Like stage chorus dancers, they worked so hard and added to the beauty and artistry, but for the most part remained anonymous.

Actually, they are listed on imdb, but who the heck knows WHO IS WHO??
Wish their photos were up.

Hi! Thank you for the replies!
Gbennett, I started noticing his same face in all these various movies. If that was him in "Great Lady" number, he worked a LONG time! He was very plainly in HELLO DOLLY - he was the waiter that Streisand addressed as "Danny" in the big HD number. He had a mustache in that scene, and somersaulted over the park bench in "Dancing".
He was also one of the four bespectacled young men dancing with Shirley Jones in "Marian the Librarian" and had a "fainting" bit in the "76 Trombones" number.
Indeed I would love to have ALL of the dancers and such listed for these movies. Sometimes they are all there, but as you said, they don't always have pictures. Other times, IMDB doesn't give (what appears to be) a complete listing.

Was he in Guys and Dolls too? He kind of looks like one of the featured dancers. The guy in Crapshooter's Ballet who craps out at the end. He also is in the beginning dance selling puppets with a woman and sitting right in the center of the screen during Sit Down Your Rocking The Boat.

In my untiring efforts to find the dancer in Guys and Dolls, I finally found the name I was looking for. Bert May. It was in a "making of" short about Guys and Dolls. That lead me back to IMDB and the page for Bert May, where someone posted:

A dancing waiter in "Hello Dolly". As Dolly comes down the stairs, she says "Hello Manny" to Bert. Bert can also be spotted in some of the other group scenes.

A dancer in "It's Always Fair Weather" with Delores Gray in the "Thanks A Lot But No Thanks" number.

A dancer in "The Band Wagon" with a small speaking part. He invites Cyd Charise to stay at the informal cast party.
