My three favourite Fred Astaire films are:

1) 'Top Hat' (1935).
2) 'The Band Wagon' (1953).
3) 'Carefree' (1938).

I know the last one is not generally regarded as one of his classics, but I really like it and this is a list of favourite films.

I'm not that familiar with Carefree but I have seen the top two quite a few times along with Easter Parade and Silk Stockings.

'Carefree' is a screwball comedy, a genre I like which is probably why I am so fond of this film, with songs by Irving Berlin and a supporting cast including Ralph Bellamy and Jack Carson. As I said before, it is not a classic, but it is, in my opinion, a fun film.
