Pointless meandering. Movie is filled with pointless scenes, dead ends, and non-starters. The only reason to watch it is... well there really is NO point to watching it. Even though Chuck stars and there are a couple of beautiful starlets, they still can't make this turkey get off the ground.
shareNot a great movie at all, but my favorite scene is after Gleeson (Heston) steps in and does the surgery on Mrs. Nelson, the two doctors sit down and......start puffing on cigarettes. Physician heal thyself, indeed.
shareIn the '60s and '70s I had a couple of doctors who would smoke cigarettes while they were in the tiny exam room with a patient, and one who would smoke cigars. Different world.
