Anyone even had a crush on Dr. T?

I'm serious... please don't ask why I asked, but I had a small crush (at least for a while)... I guess it't the whole evil insane genius thing I like.. plus I sometimes get crushes on men wo act rather gay (lots of people then he is :D ), and the fact that Hans Conreid seemed so delightfully British even though he wasn't.

... okay, um, well sorry about that. At least I'm unique and don't gush over Orlando Bloom (well, sometimes I do).

Oh yeah! I second that motion, for, well, pretty much all the same reasons you listed. Heh heh? ^_^ ... Yeah, I'm a freak! I never saw this movie as a child, I only just did a few weeks ago. At least I'm not alone, it seems! Well, I too am a complete letch for his insane evil genius... and foppery... and unique (albeit affected) voice. And the costumes... Oh man, the costumes... X_X ...

Everything about Hans Conreid/Dr. T in this movie is *~*~ delicious ~*~*. And if that's wrong, I don't wanna be right!

Wow... I am so glad I'm a girl, otherwise I think this could have been the fruitiest reply in a message board ever. Holla!

Hans Conried was cute as a BUG in this flick! He had such a flair for campy comedy, it seems a shame that he never acheived the stardom he deserved. I've always had a thing for that type...Christopher Lloyd, Alan Rickman, Patrick Stewart and even poor Jim Varney, rest his soul (ever heard him quote Shakespeare? Wow.) There is just something about their faces: saturnine, lantern-jawed, quirky, and striking; and they all have such amazing, unique voices and delivery. And, to a man, when they play the villain, they do it with such zest that they absolutely OWN the screen! So, no, ladies, you aren't all that weird. You probably wouldn't be surprised to learn that I married a very sweet and funny fellow of that mold, and thanks to a little push from me, he actually began acting in local theatre, where he discovered that he LOVES to chew a little scenery of his own, now and then!

Hans Conreid is the cutest thing in the world. Watching him chew the scenery with such joy and enthusiasm is great fun. He's adorable in Fractured Flickers as the hapless host, as well.
It is a pity he didn't live in different times. If you've seen the British (best by yards) version of House of Cards, imagine Hans Conreid in an American version. Ian Richardson chews the scenery with the same sort of impish joy, imo.

Not at all dear. I find him excruciatingly cute in this film. He's just so adorable as a scoundral, and the way he posseses a power over people...very sexy. I also felt he is a quirky off beat and off-the-wall version of tall dark and handsome. Hans Conried was so great in this role. Loved it.
