I saw them in a 1941 Monogram picture "Zis Boom Bah" along with his real mother playing his mother who was a famous actress and he was a college student. It's a college musical comedy and it features Huntz Hall (already at Monogram in the East Side Kids movies) who dances in drag at one point. He also impersonated someone's sister in one of the East Side Kids films.
But back to the couple - they had a TV series called "Peter Loves Mary" (their real names) in 1960, Bea Benaderet is in the cast (just saw this listed on IMDB).
I've also seen him in an episode of the original Outer Limits, he plays an optician who helps a two-dimensional creature find his way back home before the authorities destroy him because he is accidentally doing things like slicing buildings in half because he can't see properly in our three-dimensional world.
