Closing credits should be edited!!!

I saw the episode "The Smart Aleck" this morning.
Closing credits listed Pat Carroll who plays Sid Melton's wife, but she wasn't anywhere in the episode. Thanks to dvr I even went back and rewatched the episode, only at a somewhat faster speed, to see if I had missed her somehow, but there was no Pat Carroll.

Due to many more commercials being inserted into these shows from "days of yore"
her scenes were excised.

When a character has been edited out of a movie, program, etc. as in this case, the individual's name should be removed.

This is not an isolated incident. It happens much too often.
