I, too, loved this show when I was a child. I just wanted to mention that the title of the movie with Loretta Young and Cary Grant was "The Bishop's Wife", not The Minister's Wife. David Niven was her husband Henry, who was The Bishop .. a great movie to watch during the Christmas season.

A bit of trivia about that film. The original casting had Grant as the bishop and Niven as the angel, but they reversed it after screen tests.

Agreed, most of the old Christmas movie classics are timeless.
