'HELP!' How can I see this film???

I'm absolutely perplexed over the fact that I cannot seem to find this film anywhere on vhs or dvd. Of course, dvd is my preference.... but just to be able to see the beloved Ronald Reagen... playing alongside the truly-elegant Doris Day.... and a film about baseball is the icing on the cake.

Please.... Please help me to find this film.... if it is available anywhere! Thank you.

A great old film that deserves to be released on DVD! One day it will be, and until then it's only available on Archival dvd at [email protected]

lol.... okay now. Only available on "archival" dvd. Perhaps you have a copy recorded from television somewhere. In that, you'd be quite fortunate.

Sounds nice, bpseller. Unfortunately, this film hasn't been released on dvd, and probably never will.

A dvd copy from vhs or television isn't acceptable to me, as I wouldn't wish that for something I've written either.

I do appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Well, it'll be on WOMAX later this week (April 4). Check your local TV schedule for the exact time.

Just in case.

Give me some popcorn, a good action flick, and I'm all set.

Thanks so much, MrsPadFoot. Very kind of you to post this information. I'm in South France and am not likely to see this, however it is nice to know the film is being aired on some networks. I'll keep an eye out for it!

In case you are not yet aware, this film was released on 15-Aug-2006 as part of a Ronald Reagan collection.

On June 14 at 3pm, the Gillioz Theatre in downtown Springfield, MO will be showing "The Winning Team." It will be showing fifty six years and eight days after the movie originally premiered there! Ronald Reagan and Nancy Davis (they were engaged at the time) were there in attendance, as well as Gene Nelson and his wife, Virginia Gibson, AND President Harry Truman. Ms. Gibson and Mr. Nelson also did a dancing number before the film began as well.
