Your fave story?

I liked them all, but the last one (about the solider) really floored me. At first I expected it to be goofy, but it turned out to be really suspenseful with an unpredictable ending.

I liked Zsa Zsa's gold-digging story. She was so funny and that guy had a ball once he opened his mail! Gotta love Zsa Zsa!

What Would Buffy Do?

reply

This one was too predictable. The only questions were what excuse the writers would come up with as an reason to open his mail in the middle of a deposition and why he was dragging it out.

reply

Ginger's and Zsa Zsa's.

Animal crackers in my soup
Monkeys and rabbits loop the loop

The one with Fred Allen and Ginger Rogers.

reply

Louis Calhern & Zsa Zsa Gabor, with Fred Allen & Ginger Rogers a close second.

Disagree with the OP -- the Eddie Bracken/Mitzi Gaynor finale was boring and way too long, utterly predictable, totally uninteresting: easily the worst of the five.

Too bad they cut the sixth episode (with Walter Brennan & Hope Emerson); descriptions of it sound funny.

Movie girl: My Fav. story is the one with Eve Arden and Paul Douglas. When I was
a kid in the 60's I loved the song PAUl hears on the radio when he recalls his
bachelor days at a Latin American party. I have since found out the song is called Pefidia. Does anyone know who the talented man is singing? Would love to get a
copy! When I finally saw the film again in the 80's I discovered the title of the
song, Perfidia from a co-worker who had also seen the film.

THanks!

I love the scenes with Ginger Rogers and Fred Allen. They had me in stitches! I also enjoyed the part with Zsa Zsa Gabor because it was awesome the way her "husband" stuck it to her.
