Does anyone think that John Lasseter might have been inspired by this short cartoon for the new Pixar movie "Cars"? Even the design in the cars seem to be the same.

About 10 seconds into the cartoon it reminded me of "Cars".
Pixar is owned by Disney so there may have been permission to copy this style.
Also this was an extra on "The Love Bug" DVD from Netflix, glad I took time to watch it, as there are rarely extras on the rentals.
