Myra was clumsy but lucky (spoilers)

First she breaks the all-important evidence, then she steps on the cat and walks something making a huge noise as she's being chased. She's fortunate that she got away with these mistakes and lucked out by her husband mistaking his lover for her with an all-too-convenient wrapup at the end.
