yes just watched it, its very good. with the narration, its probably as close as you are likely to get to 'double indemnity'
shareAndrew Stone directed, closest America ever got to a neo-realism director. I love watching Stone's work for this reason. The Last Voyage, Cry Terror etc.

This is first rate stuff of the same level as Hitchcock. Very intense.

An old movie I actually hadn't seen! And it was a good one, too! Joseph Cotten has always been one of my favorite actors. Loved Theresa Wright's hair in this movie. She looked great as a blonde.
shareI agree; this is an excellent movie from start to finish! It's well worth watching. I was feeling so tense at times I wasn't sure if I wanted him to succeed or not. That's what's crazy. I didn't agree with him at all but I just wanted to see what would happen next. The fact he got that far was very surprising.
