Does anyone know if the distributing company has or will put "Stars and Stripes Forever" on DVD?
Do you know who the distributing company is?

It's Twentieth Century Fox, so perhasp this will turn up as one of their Studio Classics. You might want to write to them, as any nudge from the public toward the release of a particular picture can't hurt.

Netflix is NOW showing it (2/08) as a "coming" on DVD. No details. No date.

Netflix is still showing it in the status of "DVD coming".

A website, http://stores.thevideo-house.com/Detail.bok?no=326 is showing it as available, right now for $14.95 and $4.95 shipping (via U.S. MediaMail).

I will go ahead and buy it, and report back to this board, my experiences with this on-line store.

It's also listed as "coming" on DVD Savant's Wish List at dvdtalk.com.

Fox has announced the Blu-ray and DVD versions will be released on December 13, 2011.

It's out in a blue ray + dvd combo, I just got it on Sunday for 19.95! No commentary but extras on Sousa and the film. Nice transfer.
