Great news, thanks.

Last night I finished watching all of vol. 1, great collection.

reply

I just bought both collections.

Can't wait! Never seen ANY of these movies (and I've seen a lot of movies).

Have to find time in my viewing schedule, watching 'The Wire' on DVD right now...

The Sniper, The Line-Up, The Big Heat are probably the best, but all are good.

Watched The Sniper and The Big Heat last night.

Loved The Sniper.

The Big Heat was very good too, but I liked The Sniper more.

Dude was intense.. Loved it when he'd just totally lose it, like when he was throwing balls at the dunk tank woman. Excellent movie.

Glad you liked it. I think you'll like most of these movies.

When you watch The Line-Up see if you notice anything that brings to mind Pulp Fiction. (It'll be pretty obvious!) It's said that Tarantino derived two of his characters in that movie from this one. Plus Don Siegel directed it, and he was always excellent. It was a theatrical version of a TV cop show of the time.
