a complete, utter snoozer....



OK, we all know why we are here, on the message board for "The Seafarers", so I won't go into that. If you're really curious about seeing this film, and you must be if you are reading this sentence, I can save you the trouble and point out the two best parts of the movie:

1) The title card that reads "Directed and Photographed by Stanley Kubrick". It's fun seeing his name on a title card screen.

2) The girl in that barber shop painting on the wall. Hell-o!

The rest of this film is so utterly dry and stale you just may wonder if being a Kubrick completionist is all that it's cracked up to be. Save yourself 28 minutes. Even Kubrick's other documentaries are at least moderately interesting compared to this one.
