Censors asleep???
Not that I'm complaining, as this movie has more naughty jokes than in any movie of that era, but how they got away with it, I'll never know.

It was all done with great style and panache. MGM's version of THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY (1945) also got quite a bit by the censors.
