When I went to see this as a child in 1952 there was a sign outside the theater offering to refund the ticket price to anyone not liking the film. I don't know if this was a nation-wide policy or a bright idea of the theater owner but it impressed me at the time and probably stimulated sales.

Can't help wondering if that ploy would work today.


I don't think I want to go to the pictures. Oh?Why not? I've seen everything worth seeing.
