This film is unique:references to Christ are powerful and make this film a bit radioactive! However,the cast is splendid(Ankrum is obligatory)and i wonder if a remake of this flukish piece would not be well nigh impossible!
I highly laud this flic-if only for its provocativeness >
The Bo-Man
It's an interesting Cold War movie starring the always entertaining Peter Graves
(what can I say, I even like "It Conquered the World."
The sets suck. The writing is sometimes brain-damagingly awful and the FX are nearly nonexistent. I comfort myself by thinking Peter Graves just needed the work, early in his career.
But... unless one is a closed-minded atheist... it makes ya think.
And the back-and-forth ending was indeed suspenseful.

I have nothing against putting a religious message in a science fiction movie. My main gripe about this movie is that hits you over the head with it. If the religious message was more subtle, it might have been effective, but I think the films makers were playing down to the films audience, thinking they would be too dumb to pick up the message if was subtle. The film must have been inspired by the earlier NEXT VOICE YOU HEAR.
