Watching this movie is great for those who did not live through those times. At 73 I did, and it shows the paranoia of the time concerning war, misunderstandings about Mars, the canals, and astronomy in general, as well as the view of what the near future holds for an American family. Now you can see what we had to endure. It was a truly awkward time in our history and the world's. We didn't know what we didn't know.
