Shout Factory is selling the last MST3K box set with a bonus DVD of all 8 1/3 chapters that were riffed for the show. Anyone bored enough to tell me how it ends?

Earth is saved. Of course the Apollo moon missions were unable to find any remains in the 1970's for strange reasons.
