This short was made the same year African-American actress Hattie McDaniel (best known for her Academy-Award winning portrayl of "Mammy" in Gone with the Wind, also the inspiration for Mammy Two Shoes) passed away. Because of this, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera never used the character again.
