Raymond Massey in '52 version?

I just watched the 1952 version of 'Prisoner of Zenda' on TCM. In the scene which introduces us to Michael, did I see Raymond Massey (who played Michael in the 1937 version) in the back row of officers? If so, does anyone know if there's a story behind this?

I don't think Massey appeared as an extra in the 1952 version. However, I think it would've been great if he had repeated his role of Michael. He still looked right for the part in '52. Douglas was okay, but Massey's portrayal was darker and more threatening.
