This film is wholly attractive & watchable.

-actually i do not like comparing this to the '37 version because the '52 flic stands nicely on its own.

Very capable are Mason & Douglas in their respective roles; the technicolor is

superb and Granger & Kerr do mesh well-rather well in fact !

...in short,a lotta fun from MGM's dream factory.

...i'm beginning to surmise that Kerr is,perhaps,the superior actress in this version.

She is sooo lovely & classy >>>

I haven't seen the 1937 version, so I have to judge the film on its own merits - I really enjoyed it, but I have to confess I'm going to find the original.

The 1937 version is great, and the 1952 version is, too. We're lucky to have both of them!
