Rupert was about to shout something not so nice, I would assume, by his expression. However, when he realized he was in a hunting lodge with the Royal and attendants, and was bringing himself back to reality, he was too confused to object.

I don't see why Zapt couldn't have just nudged Rassendyll's shoulder to wake him. Or maybe he'd already tried that before the scene began. If he was in that deep of an alcohol-induced coma, he would've had a debilitating hangover for at least a few days.
