Maybe it's just me... But far too coincidental that the late Ms. Winters almost too closely resembles the late Lucille Ball (minus the henna red), but without the bold sassiness in this role-anyway. Otherwise Lucille would have pulled off this role equally, and possibly with added sass.

i thot so too; her look, and especially her tone & inflection was scary 'identical' to Lucy at that point in time.

Interestingly enough the studio didn't know what to do with other actress. The original thought was to groom them as leading ladies.
