What is 'Thirty'?
At the end of the movie, the word "Thirty" is transposed over a picture of the Statue of Liberty. Perhaps I missed something in the opening that explains this, but I was curious why.

shareThe film itself explains what Thirty is - the end of a newspaper story. Since the film itself is a newspaper thirty, Fuller pays tribute to that jargon by substituting the usual 'The End'/'Fin'/'Konets' with 'Thirty'. Incidentally, the finale of The Wire is entitled -30-.
