Watching Okinawa Right Now (11/22/2014)

I am watching Okinawa right now on The Sony Movie Channel.it seems to be pretty much a routine WWII movie filmed a few years after the war ended. I didn't even recognize Cameron Mitchell with a handlebar mustache and sailor cap pulled down tightly over his ears.

The storyline seems to have a few scenes with the officers discussing strategy, but it mainly focuses on a four man gun crew who sit around cracking wise while they wait for the Japanese Kamikazes to attack.
