DVD w/English subs

I've been looking unsuccessfully for a DVD of "Okaasan" with English subtitles. However, I have seen online stores selling an all-region DVD produced by a Chinese company -- "Bo Ying" seems to be its name -- containing removable Chinese (and sometimes Spanish) subtitles. The DVD is usually quite inexpensive, so it seems like it might be worth a risk. Anybody know of "Okaasan" DVDs produced by other sources?

My searches have also turned up an English subtitles file for this film floating around the Net. Perhaps there is a way to watch the Chinese DVD with the English subs?
